Variable Message Signs
Data Display manufactures a wide range of highway variable message signs (VMS) suitable for a whole host of traffic management applications. Both the size and the type of the display can be configured for the particular application in terms of the size of the road, the viewing distances required and the type of messages to be displayed.
All our highways VMS displays feature robust, all-weather IP65 housings and are designed to withstand vibration. Integral light sensors control the brightness of the image to ensure clear, non-dazzling messages will retain optimum visibility in all operating conditions, even direct sunlight and adverse weather conditions. Our signs are also designed to conform to the company's UK Highways Agency's TR2136 Approval, where required.
Highway variable message signs can also be fitted with a speed detection device allowing a message to be displayed when a speed threshold is exceeded.
