Production Displays
Our production board displays are similarly invaluable in notifying employees of any vital production issues to ensure continued productivity by highlighting target and actual production levels (as well as any variances), stoppages or comparisons with a previous periods figures. Armed with this knowledge, employees will be motivated to reach higher targets, thereby improving overall performance.
Production boards can be fitted with two or three colour LEDs and tri-colour beacons can also be used to show whether the production lines are running below, at or above target efficiency levels. Targets for multiple shifts or multiple periods can also be displayed.
Production displays are not only useful as a tool to motivate employees, but also for employers to track performance and production efficiency, forecasting and to calculate future performance targets. Some examples of projects for production board displays are featured below:
• Production displays for British Steel incorporated multi-colour LEDs and operated by our XSDS software via RS485.
• Electronic production display for Perkins, showing target output figures in amber, actual figures in red and scrolling alphanumeric text for general messages.
• A production board for Phoenix, Northern Ireland using numeric and alphanumeric characters and super-bright amber LEDs.
